Davidson started on his path to becoming a lawyer after graduating from the University of Arizona, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree.  After college, he attended Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia where he earned his Juris Doctor. 

Upon the completion of law school, Joshua S. Davidson returned to Phoenix and began working as a prosecutor in Maricopa County and Pima County.  For five years he was responsible for handling many different types of criminal offenses, including murder, child molestation, sexual assault, sex conduct with a minor, Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, DUI, domestic violence, assault and drug cases. Much of his time was spent in the Major Crimes Division of the Maricopa County Attorney’s office where he gained experience handling felony cases.  As a Phoenix prosecutor, he argued dozens of motions to dismiss and completed over 70 jury trials, most of which involved felony charges.
